2022 Summer Youth Theatre Cast
Journey Maher
This is Journey Maher’s first performance with the ACT 2 Youth Summer Theatre company. Journey has studied acting at Fairmont State University’s Academy for the Arts and also participated in their production of Disney’s The Jungle Book and more recently, Shrek.
During the Covid pandemic, Journey performed in FSU’s unique online production of All that Jazz and Could You Hug a Cactus. In 2019, Journey was Molly, the youngest orphan, in The Robinson Grand Theatre’s inaugural production of Annie.
Journey has previously studied musical theatre and dance with Instep dance in Anmoore, WV. She has also modeled for Wicked Cute Kidz online Etsy Boutique shop.
Journey is 12 years old and attends Bridgeport Middle School. She is the only child of Daryle and Jeannette Maher of Bridgeport. Journey enjoys everything about the arts and began performing at an early age for family. She loves to draw, act, sing and dance. She is very grateful for the opportunity to participate in this performance and further her skills and knowledge of theatre.
