As a student at West Virginia Technical College, Beverly Oliver got a taste of theatre that she never forgot. After some “bit” parts in Inherit The Wind and The Lion in Winter, she landed the part of Rosie in the intense drama, Slow Dance On The Killing Ground. She never forgot that feeling of making a character and a story come to life.
But after college, life happened, and she didn’t have much opportunity to continue any kind of theatrical pursuits. Marriage, children, grad school, job, you name it, all pushed theatre to the back. Now widowed and a grandmother, Bev finally has finally jumped back onto the boards. She will be playing the role of Lillian during the second week of the show (October 20-23).
