Jeff Schrock returns to the stage

Jeff Schrock

In What The Bellhop Saw, Jeff Schrock plays a bumbling CIA agent who is guarding (and we use that term loosely) a threatened author. People in north central West Virginia are used to seeing him on local television, but Jeff has been involved in theatre for a long time. He told us a little about how he got started and some of the other activities that he takes part in.

I started acting in community theatre about 22 years ago, first in a local production of 1776 with the Clarksburg Art Center, and it continued with several shows after that, Singing in the RainAnything Goes, and Rumors

A graduate of Grafton High School, I work as a reporter and news anchor for WBOY-TV 12.

When not working, I volunteer my time with the West Virginia Wing of Civil Air Patrol, the official auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force. I hold the rank of Lt. Colonel.

I enjoy the outdoors, golf, following entertainment and current daily news, aviation, and space exploration, which I enjoyed in 2011 by doing stories for WBOY-TV on the last Space Shuttle missions at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. I also enjoy oldies music, jazz, and the music of Frank Sinatra.

I am very excited to be working in community theatre and with ACT 2 again.

And we’re really happy to have you back, Jeff!
